Day 08: Time to head home.

On the morning of the 4th day it was time to goodbye. Mushara was nice enough to pack us a couple of bag lunches for the road. I left a nice little thank you illustration in their guestbook. We stuck around just long enough to hear some of the ladies gather around and giggle at the drawing.

In the bag: a boiled egg, a cheese sandwhich, an apple, a bran muffin and a bottle of water.

Driving back (to Windhoek) was pretty standard. It took about 5.5 hours including a stop for lunch and a couple stops for gas. Once back in Windhoek, we returned to The Belvedere for our last night. We thought it might be fun to explore a little bit so we ventured to a differnet hotel and somehow ended up on the roof top bar ;P

The drink on the far left is called a Springbok. It tastes like a mint chocoloate chip ice cream shake 0_0 There are 4 becuase we made a few friends while sitting at the bar.

Deldry came to pick us up and take us to dinner, we went to an Italian place and had pasta. After dinner, we cruised around the town to some popular hangouts.

And that's pretty much it! The rest of the trip was spent getting back home. Total travel time for this leg was about a day and a half.
