I’ve always wanted to mess around with lettering and finally got a chance to sit down and do so. Like anywhere else in the world, Hawaii’s got it’s own local slang. Phrases even differ between islands. I took a bunch the most popular words and used them to explore decorative type and colors.
I do plan to include this piece in my balance series as it demonstrates use of color and lines as well both positive and negative slang words.
