In this usability test, we tested three distinct tasks for areas of improvement.
Task 1 - Find information
Find information about the program. In this test, the user was asked to find answers to a few question we expected users to have when visiting the site. A user was considered successful if they could find the answer to the question on their own in a reasonable amount of time with no frustrations.
Task 2 - Fill out and Submit Application
In this test, the users were asked fill out a new application from start to finish. After submitting their application, they were asked to return to the homepage and check the status. Users were asked to fill out for a household that is similar to their current household in real life. They may change names if the want to. It is OK to for users to give up if they feel stuck. This would be considered a failure.
